I was in Rome, a fine glass of Prosecco in hand, when I said to my friend, "you know, I really should have a place to share my travel photography with other jet-setters." At the time, that was all Voyage à nue was meant to be: a beautiful little repository of sun-kissed destinations and soft adventure.

But once I started writing, I realized I had a lot more to say, not just about city-hopping and dreamy destinations, but about the ups and downs of life that travel has a way of bringing to the surface. And that's why I write about travel not as escape, but as a way of growing, through beauty, solitude, and the courage to see the world, and ourselves, without armor.
