Open Letters
I travel and I write. Somewhere along the way, feelings tag along and teach me things I didn't expect. These are little pieces of my life, written through intimacy, vulnerability, spirituality, and the moments that changed me.

The Spirits of Cusco Know.
The mountains were watching long before I noticed them. Cusco sits cradled in their arms. Ancient. Towering. Alive.
And when you arrive tired, open, unguarded, the spirits of Cusco at midnight inhale you.
I had come to Cusco seeking awe and beauty. I found something else. A presence that followed me in the shadows of gardens, behind the folds of shuttered windows, in the air between breaths.

Life Transition at 40
I prayed for stillness. For quiet. For the chance to finally breathe.
Then I got it.
What I didn't expect was how loud my own mind would become once the noise around me disappeared. In Port St Lucie, I'm learning that leaving one life behind doesn't automatically tell you what comes next. Sometimes, you have to be quiet enough to hear your own voice, and brave enough to trust it.

What I Miss about Being in Love
I miss being in love. Or more so, how I felt when I was in love: Curios. Safe. Present.
In Miami, he gave me a safe enough space to discover her. I don’t know whether I’ll ever find this exact kind of love again. But I know the woman who emerges when life is just right.

A Garden on the Screen. A Fire in the Room.
A staycation felt harmless enough. No airports, no chaos. Just a hotel room decorated for peace. For the first few hours, it worked. But for the next twenty-six minutes of watching my favorite YouTube channel, my world was set ablaze. My demons came with receipts to taunt me.

No Photos. Just Feelings.
This isn’t your best things to do in Zurich list. It’s a story of heartbreak and quiet healing. Sometimes, even the most luxurious destinations hold space for the most human parts of us. Zurich was supposed to be a quick getaway, but instead, it became a mirror. One moment brought me face to face with emotions I hadn’t packed for. Yet, somehow, the city knew I needed softness.

The Joy in the Journey: Sisterhood and Florence’s Magic
Sometimes the greatest destination isn’t a place.
It’s finding your way back to you.
What happens when a dream trip with people you love teaches you something you never expected to learn?
Florence gave me laughter, sunsets, fabulous outfits, unforgettable meals. And a few moments of discomfort that turned out to be just as valuable. In just a few days, I discovered that growth can arrive through sisterhood and through a glass of bubbly held just right.

You Are the Moment
This post isn’t about checking off destinations. It’s about claiming space, owning my glow, and letting the world mirror it back.

What Freedom Looks Like on Me
I was once the voiceless girl who was praised for silence, taught to survive, not to feel. But in that silence, I was storing power.
